Behind the Scenes: DIY Table Runner & Napkins with Fewer and Better Blog
Share
When my friend Sarah from the Fewer and Better Blog reached about me do a tutorial on how to sew a table runner and matching napkins, I couldn't have been more excited! I love sharing any tips & tricks I have when to comes to crafting...particularly sewing!
Here's a little behind-the-scenes on how I chose my fabrics and styled my table!
First, I considered what type of fabric I wanted to use. This is often the hardest, yet the most fun! So many choices!
It should come as no surprise that I ended up choosing a beautiful blue and white block print pattern. Timeless and classic! I bought the fabric from Etsy, and have linked it here.
After sewing the napkins and table runner, I had the oh-so-fun task of styling. Often times I will pull down a bunch of different colors and patterns and see what speaks to me! Currently I have really been enjoying the blue and white theme, with pops of orange. So, I purchased some hydrangeas and mandarins from Trader Joes (no surprise there), which ended up working perfectly!
I also used these glass candlesticks from Amazon to elevate the table as a whole. Lastly, I pulled out my favorite plates (oyster plates of course!) which tied together the whole table in its own magical way. Love!
